Aggregation of two quotes
" Believing as I do that man in the distant future will be a far more perfect creature than he now is, it is an intolerable thought that he and all other sentient beings are doomed to complete annihilation after such long-continued slow progress." ---Charles Darwin
I don't think the human race will survive the next thousand years, unless we spread into space. There are too many accidents that can befall life on a single planet. But I'm an optimist. We will reach out to the stars.---Stephen Hawking
Both of these two scientists believed that human race will not survive for eternity. Everthing including beings will be accordance with the natural law, but in the end, things will mend. Human may found another residence to live and have a new begining, such as a new planet.

week 4 developed sketchup
My idea is generated from Patricia Piccinini and Ricky Swallow. The whole view of my design is just like a kind of creature and most of the materials are wood and glass. I choose the sandhills to be the plot of land and this design is quite harmonious with the surroundings. In this picture, I want to show whole view of the stairs leading to the upstairs studio in gallery and the curvy ceiling.
This picture is about the upstairs studio and my point is to show the beautiful light and shadow.
It is a spiral stair leading to the downstairs studio.
It is the entrance of the gallery and I paste the masterpiece of Swallow following the stairs so that people can appreciate them from all the way around.
in the front of the gallery
at the back of the gallery
It is a downstairs studio. Almost every space is created by cubes intersection and this idea came from Richard Goodwin.
substances are surrounded by glass walls.
